Are you kidding me??!?!


Early reports coming from Washington Police indicate a major theft has occurred at the The National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.The Apollo 11 Command Module "Columbia" and its display housing have vanished from the museums central exhibit. "Columbia" carried astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins on their historic voyage to the Moon and back on July 16-24, 1969.
Baffled Metropolitan Police Department. MPDC spokesmen stated that two vehicles where used in the theft by an unknown number of persons. A Bulldozer was used to gain access to the main hall, while a large flatbed truck and crane were used to load the capsule with surprising speed.

MPDC officials also stated that Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis, which is suspended from the ceiling in the National Air and Space Museum's Milestones of Flight gallery was damaged by the crane during the robbery.

The Smithsonian Institution representatives have declined to make a statement and authorities are refusing to disclose more information at this time.
